DCIMURE IE Bulletin 80-13 Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant A visual inspection of the core spray sparger and piping internal to the reactor vessel was performed on Browns Ferry unit 3 during a four-hour period on December 2, 1981. Resolution of the camera system used for visual inspection was denonstrated by underwater viewing of a metallurgical sample with one-mil cracks. No abnormalities were found. Total exposure to the five individuals performing the inspectior. was 50 millirem.
