-260, -296 - BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT Please reference my letters to you dated March 18 and July 23, 1981 on the above subject. This letter constitutes our summary of the testing performed on the Browns Ferry unit 3 safety / relief valves.

The one valve (SN 1018) to be tested on unit 3 was functionally tested at Wyle Laboratories during the unit 3 cycle 4 refueling outage. The valve actuated properly. No further testing or investigation is planned. This completes our report on the subject bulletin. If you have any questions, please call Jim Domer at FTS 858-2725.
