Subject:
Project Management On March 1,1982, representatives of Georgia Power Company met with NRC II personnel at the Georgia Power Company General Offices in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss the company's nuclear power plant project management programs. Particular emphasis was on manpower planning and training, organizational structures and the company's interface with Southern Company Services.
This meeting was held at the request of Georgia Power Company.
The licensee delivered a very informative presentation of the very large and complex project management programs for the GPC nuclear facilities.
The high level of management attention given to this meeting is indicative of the company's involvement in the management of their facilities.
