Dear Sir:

My name is Roger Boyer.

I am currently wcrking towards a Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla. This letter is serving a dual purpose of requesting information for two differ-ent research reports for two classes that I'm taking this semester. After finishing each report, I will be giving a speech to the class over that material.

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, 5 USC

@ 552, I am requesting a copy of:

NUREG-06C-Rev.1, A Review of NRC Regulatory Processes and Functions and NUREG-0642 if there isn't a duplication in Rev. 1.

NUREG-0040-V4-N4, Licensee, Contractor, and Vendor Inspection Status Report, Vol. 4, Number 4.

NUREG-51367, A Study of the Implications of Applying Quantita-tive Risk Criteria in the Licensing of Nuclear Power Plants in the United States.

and any other reports that you may be aware of dealing with recommendations for the present nuclear power plant licensing process and on the evaluation of fault trees by the computer program M0CUS.

If there are any fees for searching for, or copying the records, I have requested, please inform me before you fill the request.

As you know, the Act permits you to reduce or waive fees when the re-lease of the information is considered as benefiting the public.

I believe that this request fits that category and I therefdre ask that you waive all fees.

Thank-you for your time and cooperation on this request.

Sincerely, G?cgd.&p Roger L. Boyer i
