SKAGIT/HANFORD NUCLEAR PROJECT PUGET SOUND POWER AND LIGHT CO.

DOCKET NOS. 50-522 AND 50-523 In response to the Applicant's telephone requests of April 2 and April 7, 1982, the staff has tabulated a.few randomly-selected examples of seismic reflection line anomalies that are coincident (or nearly so) with Werner Solutions (Rockwell Report ST-14,1981) or other features identified by the NRC staff:

Seismic Approximate Werner Solution or Preliminary Reflection LIne Shot Point Other Anomaly Interpretation FY-80-9 370 N-246 Possible fault FY-80-ll 680-690 NRC Question 231.2 Small possible faults 2

390-400 N-239 Possible fault 3

340 None Possible fault Since the staff interpretation of the seismic reflection data is incomplete and because of the poor quality of the processed lines, the above listing represents only a partial list of reflection line anomalies that are somewhat coincidental with features identified through other means (geoobysical and bore hole).

The staff's interpretation of the seismic reflection data will resume following the Acolicant's action to improve the quality of the existing Rockwell reflection lines of 1979 and 1980.
