Docket Nos. 50- 9 s
Tennessee Valley Authority

50-26 G/
- g up 50-296 D. G. Eisenhut's March 17, 1982 letter to All Licensees of Operating Power Reactors (Generic Letter No. 82-05) requested that TVA provide additional schedular information regarding certain NUREG-0737 items. For those items listed in Enclosure 1 to the March 17 letter, TVA submits the enclosed list confirming our previous responses concerning Browns Ferry l
Nuclear Plant NUREG-0737 commitments. This also reconft; M TVA's position as stated in the integrated schedule of our October 28, 1981 and November 3, 1981 letters requesting schedular deferral of certain TMI action items; and we are proceeding on this basis. The justification and need for these deferrals was provided in our previous silbmittals and in meetings with the NRC staff on September 30 and December 2, 1981.
Based on the enclosure, continued operation of the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant is justified, and the operating licenses for Browns Ferry units 1, 2, and 3 should not be modified, suspended, or revoked.
Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY L. M. Mills, Manager Nuclear Regulation and Safety Subscr'ibeba sworn to before me this /af __ day of d d4i.b 1982.
