50-309 UNIT Maine Ya'nkee DATE 820312 COMPLETED BY A.E. Doyle TELEPHONE 617-872-8100-X2390 REPORT MONTH FEBRUARY, 1982 SU?tlARY OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES The plant was at full power at the beginning of the month.

On February 6th, a load reduction to 80% was completed to investigate Cl-inleakage f rom waterboxes "A" and "B".

The plant returned to full power on February 7th.

On February 13th, a load reduction to 80% was completed to sequentially check all waterboxes for C1 inleakage.

The plant returned to full power on February 16th.

On February 16th, a reactor trip resulted when an automatic turbine trip was initiated while performing D'J ground isolation procedures.

On February 17th, while at 30% power, and attempting to start a heater drain pump, the reactor and turbine were automatically tripped due to a high Heater Drain Tank level. The plant returned to full power on February 18th.

On February 27th, the reactor and turbine were manually tripped when P-2B steam generator feed pump tripped due to a failed low suction pressure switch.

The plant was returning to full power at the end of the month.
