Meeting With BWR Owners Group Dealing With Interim Hydrogen Control Rule From our recent telephone discussions I understand that by June 7,1982, the BWR Owners Group plans to submit a substantive evaluation related to radiolytically produced oxygen following a LOCA and the implications for combustible gas control. Based on our receiving the report on June 7,1982, we plan to schedule a meeting with the Owners Group to discuss the preliminary results of our ev31uation of the report late in June.
Because of the broad interest in this subject we plan to invite all interested operating BWR licensees, although we expect individual licensees to act, as appropriate, in applying the requirements of the interim rule to their factif ties.
Please inform me if you wish to discuss this matter further.
