STIPULATION AMONG THE PARTIES CONCERNING THE SCHEDULING OF ISSUES AND WITNESSES Pursuant to the Licensing Board's Order of May 17, 1982, counsel for Intervenors Christa-Maria, et al.,
Consumers Power Company (" Licensee") and the NRC Staff have agreed upon the schedule listed below.
Counsel for the Intervenors has obtained the agreement of Mr. O'Neill.
However, Mr. O'Neill has served notice that he may not be able to participate in any hearings held on June 12 and 13, and that he may request some revision to the schedule at that time.
All counsel agree that no estoppel will attach to any such request by virtue of his agreement to this Stipulation.
It has been agreed, with one exception, that Licensee will present its case first on each issue, with the Staff and Intervenors to follow.
The exception involves the NRC Staff witness from FEMA, fir. Bement.

. first, with any Licensee and Intervenor witnesses to follow.
Mr. Bement of FEMA is being scheduled on Monday morning, June 7, at the request of counsel for the NRC Staff.
In aduition, the Staff witness or witnesses on the Environ-mental Impact Assessment must be presented on Friday morning, June 11.
Intervenors' witness, Dr. Kaku, must be scheduled to testify on Tuesday, June 15.
No special consideration is needed for Licensee's witnesses at the present time.
- However, some witnesses, such as Colonel Betourne, may require revision of the schedule.
All parties have indicated a willingness to attempt to cooperate with respect to any schedule adjustments required in the future.
The agreed-upon order of events, issues and witnesses is set forth in Exhibit A
~
to this Stipulation.
l A " calendar" is'also attached as Exhibit B to this Stipulation.
With the exception of the evening sessions set aside for limited appearance statements, Exhibit B contains a projection of the dates that events, issues and witnesses will occur or be heard.
This recitation is merely for the convenience of the Licensing Board and the parties.
It is not intended, except as indicated above, to bind the parties and Licensing Board to the occurrence of particular
' events, et cetera, on specified dates.
