Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 106 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.90, GPU Nuclear Corporation operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16 request a change to Appendix A of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.
- echnical Specification Change Request No. 106 requests a one time only nnotation to the definition of Refueling Outage (Section 1.12).
Prior to the cycle 10 refueling outage only, the definition shall be annotated to extend the time between successive tests or surveillances from not exceeding 20 months to not exceeding 30 months.
It is our intention that this change request does not affect the interpretation of section 1.24 " Surveillance Requirements" which grants f

interval."
The Technical Specification Change Request has been reviewed and approved by the Director, Station Operations, the Plant Operations Review Committee, and an Independent Safety Review Group in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Specifications.
We have d e t e rm ined that this submittal is Class III per 10 CFR 107.22 and will enclose a check for $4000 pursuant to that section by separate letter.
