Dear Mr. Denton:
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p), please find attached five copies of Revision 1 (Additional Pages) to the Catawba Nuclear Station Security Plan dated May 17, 1982. Revision 1 (Additional Pages) is being submitted to clarify regulatory commitments in the areas of protected area / vital area barrier separation, testing of.the perimeter intrusion detection system, and physical barriers for llVAC ducts. Revision 1 (Additional Pages) does not decrease the effectiveness of the Catawba Nuclear Station Security Plan.
Since this material is applicable to security provisions at Catawba, it is requested that this information be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21.
