NRC Inspection of IAEA Safeguards Inspection This letter refers to the special safeguards inspection of your activities authorized under NRC License No. SNM-1227 conducted by Mr. G. B. Nelson of this office on April 14-21, 1982.
It also refers to the discussions i
of inspection findings held by the IAEA inspectors with you and members of your staff on March 20, 1982.
The inspection included examination of activities related to your program for the control and accounting of special nuclear material in accordance I
with requirements of the Facilities Attachment No.1 Safeguards Agreement under NPT between the USA and the IAEA, Subsidiary Arrangements. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of records, interviews with facility personnel, and observations by the i
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no items of noncompliance were observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice "
Part 2. Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, documentation of the findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding ne special nuclear material are exempt from public disclosure; therefore, g@
the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the Public Document g
Room.
