DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER 82-10 POST-TMI REQUIREMENTS POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 Mr. Eisenhut's letter of May 5, 1982 to all operating power reactor licensees enclosed a listing of those NUREG-0737 items not previously addressed in the NRC's March 17, 1982 letter and requested schedule commitments to implement those items. In tnose cases where a licensee's schedule extended beyond the lUREG-0737 schedule, licensees were further requested to provide a justification for the schedule and a description of compensatory measures being taken in the interim.

On April 26, 1982, in response to the March 17 NUREG-0737 schedule letter, Wisconsin Electric submitted an updated schedule requirements and implementation status letter for all of the NUREG-0737 items. That letter addresses each of those items identified in the enclosure to your May 5 letter. However, for your convenience, we have prepared a separate listing as an attachment to this letter which reconfirms, and in a few cases further updates, the information which has been previously provided to you.

I.C.1, To Be Determined Although the schedule for revised emergency Revised Emergency procedures promulgated in NUREG-0737 required Procedures implementation by the first refueling after 1/1/82, we understand that the Commissioner's are presently considering a revised imple-mentation schedule for this item under the topic of SECY 82-111, " Requirement for Emergency Response Capabilities". Apparently, Commission action on this document is scheduled for June 1982. We will respond to the results of this Commission action when the revised implementation schedule has been published.
