Gentlemen:
We have received a copy of your application dated April 28, 1982, which was filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) staff for review. This application related to an extension of construction comple-tion dates for the Alvin W. Vogtle Plant Units 1 & 2.
A Class III fee
($4,000) for Unit 1 and a Class I fee ($400) for Unit 2 were ramitted pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22.
Based on information provided by the OHRR staff as the result of their prelirainary review of your application, it has been determined that a Class II fee ($1,200) is appropriate for Unit 1 in lieu of the Class III fee ($4,000) remitted since the review will be administrative or pro forma in nature. The Class I fee for Unit 2 is appropriate. Therefore, we are concurrently authorizing the Division of Accounting and Finance to refund the sum of $2.800 to your Company.
If the ONRR's final fee determination reveals that these fees are not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
