~1, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 Docket # 50-155 Dear Sirs; I am the President of Mary Ann's Restaurant Cor;pany, and operate la Becasse Restaurant.

John II, my son, is.my employee.

His inescapable duties at'the redtabrant have been very great these Inst two wecks, owing to the fact that we have just obtained a liquer license, and as a result have underteken a great number of major i

modificatinns.

His duties have included: supervising and working with the following people:

-a carpenter, instaliing a new set of shelves, boxing in ductwork, nodifying a bathroom, installing new door and locks, and other tasks;

-a refridgeration man, and his ductworker, in the moving and reinstallation of the building's airconditioner, installing about 100 feet of airconditiong ductwork, and other associated tasks;

-two painters, in the repainting of one room, a cignificant portion of the main dining room, kitchen painting, and two bathrooms;

-a manual laborer, in the cleaning up of construction messes from the restaurant, a task that had to be done in its entirety three times.

I emphasize that he has been working along side these people.

He has also been involved in scheduling of workers, locating and picking up-of materials, and uncounted other tasks.

He has been

~~

working constantly on his restaurant work, and has had time for little

else, s

I am writing this letter in support of his motion for an extension of testimony on his nlant history contention, an extension until May 2hth.

I can state from direct experience, that his restaurant' duties have prevented him from working en this matter.

I believe that the extension wi13 allow him te file testimony.

I aff'irm that the above le true.

Sincerely j

i
