SU!!?tARY OF !!EETING HELD 0?! APRIL 29,1982 A neeting was held with the Duke Power Company on April 29, 1982, in Ecthesda, Maryland. The purpose of the neeting was to discuss continued operation of Unit 1, utilizinq the pre-heater-type steam generator, beyond the current authorized 1500 hours0.0174 days <br />0.417 hours <br />0.00248 weeks <br />5.7075e-4 months <br />. A list of attendees is presented in Enclosure Ho.1.
The presentatien nade by the licensee and Westinghouse followed the agenda (Enclosure No. 2). An operating / licensing suvary is shcwn as Enclosure Ho. 3, describing the actions taken both by the licensee and the staff since October, 1981 (staff notification of Ringhals 3 S/G experience). Enclosure No. 4 provides a power history comparison of McGuire Unit 1 and Ringhals 3/Almaraz 1 showing ninimal operation of t'cGuire at hiah power levels.
The major portion of the presentation and discussion focused on the April 28, 1982, licensee letter to the staf f supporting their request for continued operation of Unit 1 at power levels up to 75%. Enclosure flo. 5 presents a highlight sunnary of I
the discussion nattors. The licensee proposed near term operation of Unit 1 is outlined in Enclosure !!o. 6.
