In accordance with your application dated April 6,1982,'and pursuant to Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SE-1227 is hereby amended to authorize the disposal of solid waste wterial containing 30 pC1/ gram or less of low enriched uranium. The authori a h a is subject to the following condition:
The low-enriched uranium shall not exceed 30 pCi/ gram of dry solid waste material.
The uranium shall be essentially uniformly distributed throughout the waste material.
All other conditions of this license shall reunin the same.
The condition was discussed, and agreed to, by your Mr. C. W. Malody and Mr. Bidinger of sty staff on May ll,1982.
This license amendment does not exempt Exxon Nuclear Company. Inc. from any requirement for a state or local government agency disposal pemit.
Enclosed for your information is a copy of our safety evaluation report.
