Dear Mr. Marshall:
This is in response to your letter of May 15, 1982 to Michael Blume in response to his letter of April 8,1982. Mr. Blume was responding to your letters to various NRC officials addressing issues involving the Midland Plant.
Mr. Blume indicated that most, if not all, of your questions would be answered by the Staff Safety Evaluation Report. As we discussed on Monday, i
May 24, 1982, you have now received a copy of that report.
In our April 8, 1982 letter we also noted that as a participant in the ongoing Midland OL-0M proceeding you receive copies of all correspondence.
You also have access to the NRC Public Document Room in the Grace Memorial Library in Midland.
As an active participant in the OL-0M proceeding you know that discovery has long since terminated in that proceeding. As a party to the OL proceeding you have received a copy of Judge Bechhoefer's Order of May 7,1982, in which he set out at length the discovery schedule for the portion of the OL-0M proceeding which will address principally 0L issues.
We continue to believe that the sources of information available to you are sufficient to obtain whatever information you believe that you need.
