APPLICANTS' MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME On May 10, 1982, Palmetto Alliance filed its " Response To Board Questions And Motion Regarding Security Contention No.

23."

The Board, in its Memorandum and Order of March 5, 1982, provided the parties with an opportunity to respond to Palmetto Alliance's security filing.

On May 12, 1982, Applicants filed a " Notification"

with the Board indicating its intent to respond to Palmetto Alliance's " Response" and " Motion" and requested that the time for such response be June 4, 1982.

Having not heard from the Board, 1/ and in order to provide comments on both the " Response" and " Motion" portions of Palmetto Alliance's Security filing in one document, Applicants request, pursuant to 10 CFR S2.711, that the time to respond to Palmetto
