SUMMARY

Month: April, 1982 McGuire 1 began the month of April at 50% power awaiting further analysis of the steam generator condition.

}.

)

On April 23, while reducing power because of a tech. spec. requirement, the feed-water pump tripped due to the discharge pressure setpoint trip being too low. This caused a unit trip. Setpoint corrections were made and the unit was returned to service on April 24, and increased to 50% power continuing the recainder of the month.
