AFFIDAVIT OF Ann Ramsbotham ld iarrington My name is Ann Ramsbotham and my home is on Road in Durham County within 25 miles of the Shearon Harris nuclear power plant site.
I am greatly concerned about the prospect of a nuclear plant Therefore, as operating so close to my home and community.
a member of the Kudzu Alliance, 1 have authorized them to petition to intervene on my behalf in the Operating License I believe that my concerns application by CP&L and others.
about the adverse effects of the Shearon Harris plant will be and that my interests well represented by the Kudzu Alliance, will not be adequately represented by other parties to the hearings.
I believe that the Shearon Harris plant, if given a license to operate, will threaten the health, safety, and lives of those of us living near the plant, will endanger the land, water and animals in the surrounding area, and will also threaten the Knowing the great lives and health of generations to come.
I am threat that contamination poses for small children, particularly fearful of raising a family so close to the Shear-on Harris plant.
I join in requesting the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to aid in our intervention against Carolina Pov:er and Light and u t, the Shearon Harris nuclear power plant.
