This refers to the routine rafety inspection conducted by Mr. R. P. Zimmerman of
this office on March 1,1982 through April 9,1982 at the R. E. Ginna fluclear
Power Plant of activities authorized by flRC License fio. DPR-18 and to the discussions
of our findings held by Mr. Zimerman with Mr. B. Snow and other members of your staff
periodically during the inspection.
Areas exanined during this inspection are described in the fiRC Region I Inspection
Report which is enclosed with this letter. Uithin these areas, the inspection con-
sisted of selective exaninations of procedures and representative records, interviews
with personnel, observations by the inspector, and neasuronents made by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will
be placed in the fiRC Public Document Room unless you notify this office, by telephone

within ten days of the date of this letter and submit written application to withhold

infornation contained therein within thirty days of the date of this letter.
Such
application nust be consistent with the requirements of 2.790(b)(1).
