Dear Mr. Leasburg:

SUBJECT:
STARTUP PHYSICS TEST PROGRAM FOR NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNIT NO. 2 (NA-2)
By letter (Serial No. 204) dated April 8,1982 you requested that certain physics tests in your startup physics test program for NA-2 be deleted.
Your requested change would eliminate the rodded core flux map and the rodded core isothermal temperature coefficient measurement provided the results of the unrodded core flux map and isothemal temperature coefficient measurement meet current acceptance and review criteria.
These two tests are not part of our recomended and standard set of Pressurized Water Reactor Startup Physics Tests for reloaded cores.
Therefore, we agree, with you that these two tests can be eliminated from the NA-2 startup physics test program.
By this letter, you are hereby notified that your request is approved.
Sincerely, C6gind SWd D'i Leon Engle, Project Manager Operating Reactors Branch #3 Division of Licensing cc: See next page l
