Docket 50-305 Operating License DPR-43 Kewaunce Nuclear Power Plant Electrical Transmi tter Replacement and Calibration (IE Bulletin 79-OlB)
During the current refueling outage we are planning on replacing several transmitters with models that are environmentally qualified to recently issued requirements. The currently installed transmitters will not be calibrated prior to removal, however, the new transmitters will be calibrated in accordance with our standard procedures and technical specifications. This work is being performed as part of our equipment qualification program as noted in our docket.
This has been discussed with the Resident Inspector and this letter is being sent at his request.
