Dear Sir:

The NRC was notified of the subject deficiency evaluation in Reference (A). An Interim Report was transmitted by Reference (B), and a time extension was requested by Reference (C). At that time, it was estimated that a Final Report would be available by April 23, 1982.

Due to the extensive investigation and corrective action required, it is now expected that this information will be finalized by May 24, 1982, at l

which time a complete report will be submitted.

There is no change to the Interim Report at this time.
