.y UNITED STATES NUCLEAP, REGULATORY COINISSION DOCKET NO. 50-361 SOUTHERN CALIFOR!lIA EDIS0N C0f"PANY, ET AL NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDriENT FACILITY OPERATIllG LICENSE NO. HPF-10 The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comision) has issued Amendnent No. 2 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-10, issued to Southern California Edison Company, San Diego Gas and Electric Company, The City of Riverside, California and The City of Anaheim, California (licensees) for the San Onofre Huclear Generating Station, Unit 2 (the facility) located in San Diego County, California. The amendnent is effective as of April 9,1982.
This amendment (1) clarifies the testing and acceptance criteria for low and mediun voltage circuit breakers and (2) deletes the nominal trip setpoint and short circuit response time values contained in the Technical Specifications.
Issuance of this amendment complies with the standards and requirenents of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Commission's regula-tions. The Comission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Comission's regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendnent. Prior public notice of this amendment was not reouired since the amendnent does not involve a significant hazards consideration.
The Commission has determined that the issuance of this anendment will not result in any significant environmental inpact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 51.5(d)
(4) an environmental impact statenent, or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendnent.
