control system. An investigation revealed dirt in the air circuit of the "A" feed-water regulator valve pneumatic current-to-pressure converter. This caused an in-correct valve position signal to be initiated.
The converter was replaced.
The preventive maintenance program for this equipment will be reviewed and revised as necessary to prevent recurrence.
