This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. E. H. Girard of
this office on March 23-26, 1982, of activities authorized ' y NRC Construction

Permit No. CPPR-94 for the V. C. Summer facility and to the discussion of our
findings held with Mr. W. A. Williams, General Manager of Nuclear Operations,
at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspection report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were disclosed.
We have examined actions you have taken with regard to previously reported
unresolved items.
