Dear Mr. Palladino,
I hope that the NRC will decide not t
g Nfll-current plant design and seismic readiness study on the Diablo Canyon
- plant, authored by PG&E's selected consulting firm.
I urge the'NRC to select an independent nuclear plant consultant which will perform an entirely new study, in order to estabish once and for all which problems are serious saftey threats and which have been resolved.
I believe there have been so many i nconsi stenci es, omissions, and irregularities with the current study that many are feeling there has been a significant attempt by PG&E to mislead the public.
In order to put those fears to rest, relieve the public anxiety and determine clearly the present risks of the plant as it now stands I think a new, unbiased study. must be done.
For that reason, I hope you will decide not to simply re-evaluate the present study but to undertake an entirely
- new, independent, examination of design and construction procedures at the Diablo Canyon Plant.
