New Page 58 6.0 Relief Valve and Safety Valve Failures and Challenges 6.1 Unit 1 PORV-431C was actuated on October 10, 1981 during "High and Low Head Safety Injection Check Valve Leakage Tests".
The plant conditions at the time were shut down and cooled down with a primary system pressure of approximately 350 psig and a primary system temperature of approximately 105 F.
PORV-431C did not stroke fully prior to reseating.
The strip recorder showed no change in coolant system pressure.
The setpoint of PORV-431C was 414.5 psi.
6.2 Unit 2 Unit 2 experienced no challenges or failures of relief valves or safety valves during this reporting period.
