This is in response to your letter dated January 8,1982 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, seven categories of records regarding the proposed rule on Environmental Qualification of Electric Equipment for Nuclear Power Plants.
1 I have been informed by NRC staff that there are only two existing records, other than the proposed rule, that are relevant to your request.
The first record, as identified on the enclosed appendix, pertains to category two of your request.
This record is being made available at the NRC Public Document Room (PDR) for your inspection and copying.
You may obtain access to this record at the PDR by either presenting a copy of this letter or requesting folder F0IA-82-8 filed under your name.
i The second record, as identified on the enclosed appendix, perteins to category seven of your request. This record is available from the National Technical Information Service, U.S. Department of Conmerce, 5285 Port Royal Road, Springfield, VA 22151. The price of a printed copy is $5.45, and the price of a microfiche copy is $2.25.
The staff has further informed me that with regard to category six, the basis is found in the Regulatory Flexibility Statement of the proposed rule.
