This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Fasano of this
office on July 8-31, August 1-8 and September 11, 1974 of activities
authorincd by AEC License Mos. DPR-03 and DPR-26 and to the
discussions of our findings held by Mr. Fasano uith Mr. Stein of

your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Regulatcry
Operations Inspection Report which is enclosed uith this letter.
Within these arcas, the inspection consisted of selactive examinations
of procedures and representative records, intervices with personnel,
and observations by the inspector.
During this inspection, it uns found that certain of your. activities
appeared to be in violation of AEC requirements.
The items and

reference- to the pertinent requirements are listed in the enclosure
to this lctter. This letter constitutes'a notice sont to you
pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.201 of the AEC's " Rules
of Prac tce", Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations.
Section 2.201 requ;res you to submit to this_offica uithin 20 days'
of your receipt _of this notice, a written statement of explanation
in reply, including: (1) corrective steps which have been or vill
be taken by you, and the results achieved; (2) corrective steps
which vill be taku to avoid further violations; and (3) the
date when full compliance vill be achieved.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice",
Part 2, Title 10, Code of rederal Regulations, a copy of this
letter and the enclcsed inspection report uill be placed in the
AEC's Public Docume e Room.
If this report contains any informatica
that you_(or your contractor) believe to be proprietary, it is
necessary that you make a written application uithin 20 days to
this office to uithhold such information from public disclosure.
