NIAGARA MO:!AWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT NUCLEAR STATION UNIT #1 NARRATIVE OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE January 1982 The Station operated during the Month of January with a monthly availability factor of 100% and a net design electrical capacity factor of 97.6%.

Reduction of capacity factor was due to a control rod sequence exchange performed 1/9/82 -

1/11/82.

  1. 17139 - Furmanited PCV-08-10 bonnet gasket area 1/6/82
  1. 15867 - Furmanited flange on level column to 121 moisture separator drain tank 1/7/82.
  1. 17138 - Furmanited PCV-08-24 bonnet gasket area 1/6/82.
  1. 15868 - Made inspection changed tubes - found no leakers in #11 Rx. Bldg.

CLC heat exchanger 1/8/82.

  1. 15885 - Found 16 tube Icaks #12 RB CLC and plugged them 1/15/82.
  1. 14458 - #13 RB CLC - replaced unions 1/21/82.
  1. 14446 - #13 Feedwater Booster pump - Repacked inboard bearing 1/22/82.
  1. 14463 - #13 RB CLC lixEx cleaned tubes and pluged (16) 1/22/82.
  1. 15917 - FW valve 30-11 Furmanited 1/18/82.
  1. 14441 - #135 FW heater 30-06-A LC Magnetroler Furmanite Flange 1/18/82.
  1. 15902 - #122 Reheater Drain valve - 09 LCV Furmanite 1/14/82.
  1. 15914 - 111 Reheater Drain Tank LCV - Furmanited 1/14/82.
  1. 15898 - IIP Steam PCV to 122 2nd stage reheater PCV Furmanite 1/14/82.
