This refers to the routine inspection conducted by f!r. W. H. Bradford of this
of fice on flovember 16 - December 15, 1981, of activities authorized by 11RC
Operating License fios. IIPF-2 and flPF-8 for the Farley facility.
Our prelininary
findings were discussed with ifr. W. G. Ibirston, Plant fianager, at the conclusion
of the inspection.
Areas exanined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclose <1 inspection repart.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, intervie.ss with
personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
During the inspection, it was found that certain activ'ities under your license
dppear 10 Viola te f1RC requirements.
These items and references to pertinent
requirements are listed in the flotice of Violation enclosed herewith as
Appendix A.
Elenents to be included in your response are delineated in
Appendix A.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure (s)
will be placed in the liRC's Public Document Roco unless you notify this of fice,
by telephone, within ten days of the date of this letter and submit written
application to withhold infonution contai.W therein within thirty days of the
date of this letter.
Such application iaust be consistent with the requirements
of 2.790(b)(1).
The responses directed by this letter and the enclosures are not subject to the
clearance procedures of the Office of flanagenent and Budget as required by the
Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
