Unannounced, Special Physical Protection Inspection on December 7, 1981 (Report Number 70-371/81-19)
Area Inspected:
Review of the licensee's program of entry / exit control of personnel and vehicles and verification of documentatior, associated with an export of a strategic quantity of SNM. The inspection involved 12 inspector hours onsite by two Region based NRC inspectors.
Results: The licensee was found to be in violation of NRC requirements in two areas:
1)
Failure to search visitors entering the protected area;
- 2) Failure to search a vehicle entering the protected area.
