Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Exemption Request From 10 CFR 50.48.C(5)
The purpose of this letter is to update my March 3,1982 letter to you based upon discussions held on March 4 and March 5 between my staf f and your staff.
It is our plan to comply with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.48.C(5) by submitting to you on or before July 1, 1982 our design description for our proposed Dedicated Shutdown Systems.
However, in order to meet that schedule, the details of the locations of new equipment and tie-ins cannot be provided because the inplant work necessary to support these details cannot be done before that date.
