PALISADES PLANT - REDETERMINATION OF REPORTABILITY On February 3, 1982 Palicades Plant determined that the SIRW tank, level was below the limit specified by Technical Specificatior 3.3.1.
This condition was deemed reportable per Technical Specification 6 9.2.a(2),
and required notifications were made to the State of Michigan and NRC.
During evaluation of the event report associated with this condition, it was determined that the SIRW tank was within specification, but the apparent low level was caused by level instruments being out of calibration. As a i
result, the condition is not reportable and lk-day written notification
[
(LER) to the NRC is not required. This letter documents Consumers Power i
Company's redetermination of reportability concerning this event.
