DOCUMENT REQUEST FOR STATION BLACKOUT RULE IMPLEMENTATION INSPECTION As discussed with Mr. John Maracek of your staff, we have scheduled an inspection at your Beaver Valley Power Station for the week of August 30 - September 3,1993. The purpose of this inspection is to verify the adequacy of your program, procedures, training, equipment and systems, and supporting documentation for implementing the Station Blackout (SBO) rule,10 CFR 50.63.

In order to conduct this type of comprehensive inspection and support the inspection scope, we will need to review, in advance, documents concerning coping with an SBO event. We request that you send one copy of the dccuments identified in the enclosure to the NRC, l

Training and Procedures implemented to cope with SBO (SBO Response including alignment of AAC source to appropriate buses, AC Power Restoration, Severe Weather Procedure, etc.).
