This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. J. F. Melfi of this office on
"
June I through July 5,1993. The inspection included a review of activities
authorized by NRC License No. NPF-1 at the Trojan Nuclear Plant. At the.
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with'those members
of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

Areas examined during this inspection are identified in the enclosed report.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of
procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and
observations by the inspectors. No violations or. deviations of NRC
requirements were identified within the scope of this inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR-2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC- Public Document Room.
This letter and its enclosure are' not subject to the clearance procedures of
the Office of Management and Budget as required.by the Paperwork Reduction Act
of 1980, PL 96.511.
