An announced safety inspection of the radwaste, transportation and radiation protection

l
The inspection findings were discussed with you and members of your staff at the conclusion

Areas examined during this inspection are important to health and safety and included the
radiation protection program. Areas inspected included your programs for: processing plant
'
liquids, collection and processing of radwaste, transportation of radioactive materials,
training and assurance of quality, Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
-
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
,
observations by the inspector.
'
Continued strong performance in the area of radwaste processing and transportation of
radioactive materials was noted. Training programs for radwaste and radiation protection
'
personnel were also determined to be very good, while your program for the assurance of
quality in the radwaste area remained excellent. One violation of regulatory requirements
l
