Tnis refers to the inspection conducted by D. Thompson of this office on
July 6 9, 1993.
The inspection included a review of activities authorized for
your Farley facility. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were
discussed with those members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

Although Section 2.201 requires you to submit to this effice, within 20 days

of your receipt of this Notice, a written statement of explanation, we note
that this violation had been corrected and those actions were reviewed during
this inspection.
Therefore, no response with respect to this matter is

required.
The material enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by

10 CFR Part 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited
by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. Therefore, the
material will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
