Letter dated June 28,1993, from Dr. E. T. Boulette to the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission transmitting the annual summary of changes to the Boston Edison Quality Assurance Program Description We received your 10 CFR 50.54(a) submittal, referenced above, transmitting the annual summary of changes t "le Boston Edison Quality Assurance Program Description as listed in the Boston Edison Quality Assurance Mannual (BEQAM), Volume II. The Region I staff has reviewed this submittal in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(a) and determined that the changes to the Quality Assurance Program are acceptab!e in that the Quality Assurance Program continues to satisfy the criteria of Appendix B of 10 CFR Part 50. If there are changes to other operative QA commitments existing in docketed correspondence outside of the QA program description, you are obligated to notify this effice. Implementing such changes should be based on 10 CFR 50.54(a)(3).
The effectiveness of your Quality Assurance Program and procedure implementation will continue to be the subject of routine regional inspections.
