AMENDED POSSESSION LIMITS (TAC NO. L30581)
In accordance with your application dated June 16, 1993, and pursuant to Part 70 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License i
SNM-1168 is hereby amended to:
(1) reduce the amount of-uranium-235 to 15,000 kgs and remove the authority to receive uranium-235 powder, (2) delete the authority to possess enriched UF, (3) reduce the amount of depleted or natural uranium to 100,000 kgs, k4) reduce the amount of natural UF to 6
350 grams, (5) reduce the amount of byproduct material contained in sealed sources to 10 curies, (6) increase the amount of uranium-235 for laboratory purposes to 350 grams, and (7) reduce the amount of byproduct material to _10 curies.
Accordingly, Conditions 6, 7, and 8 have been revised to reflect the current j
possession limits. Condition S-1 is revised to include the date of June 16, i
1993, and Condition SG-2.1 has been revised to incorporate the date of August 28, 1992.
l All other conditions of the license shall remain the same.
Your request to have your fee classification changed has been referred to the License Fee and Debt Collection Branch.
Enclosed is a copy of License SNM-1168, which incorporates changes to the Safety and Safeguards Conditions. Also enclosed is the Safety Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion determination.
