RADIATION RESPONSE PERSONNEL QUALIFICATION OBJECTIVEE i
Qualification under this program allows personnel to respond to non-routine radiological events. - These events are those which require:
1.
Immediate attention by onsite personnel and i
2.
An evaluation for the assistance of additional offsite personnel to implement additional actions.
Qualification for the specific tasks shall be done with a through 1
understanding of the applicable procedure (s). Tasks shall be completed as " hands-on" evolution's as much as practical with the actual equipment.
Listed with each task are objectives that shall be included in the qualification process. These objectives are considered to be a minimum for successful completion of the indicated task. Also included with each task description is a reference to the controlling procedure (s) which' were used as guidance for the RP Responder procedure, RP-305-40.
