NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-313/93-19; 50-368/93-19
This refers to the team inspection conducted by Mr. Daniel M. Barss,
Emergency Preparedness Branch of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulttion and
other accompanying personnel during the period of June 21-25, 1993, of
activities authorized for your Arkansas Nuclear One plant.
At the conclusion
of the inspection, the findings were discussed with Mr. Randall K. Edington
and other members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection included the implementation of your
emergency plan and procedures during your annual emergency response exercise.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of
procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations by the inspectors. The results of this inspection are documented
in the enclosed report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no exercise weaknesses, violations or
deviations were identified.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the Public Document Room.
If you have any questions concerning this inspection, we will be pleased to
discuss them with you.
