ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS (TAC NOS. M86515 AND M86516)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.147 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 and Amendment No.135 to Facility Operating License No.
DPR-48 for the Zion Nuclear Power Station, Units I and 2, respectively.
The amendments are in response to your application dated May 26, 1993.
The amendments revise the Technical Specifications (TS) by deleting the requirement to perform a quarterly equalization charge of the DC battery from the TS and placing it under the licensee's control.
A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will
'oe included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
