CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1 Vibration and Loose Parts Monitoring System Channels 9 and 11 On May 20,1993, channel 9 (S/G A Channel 2) and 11 (S/G C Channel 2) were declared inoperable. Both channels failed acceptance criteria for background noise. A work request (#93018325) has been written to repair these channels during a future outage of sufficient length. The following channel is operable and providing coverage as noted:
