Dear Sir:
Florida Power Corporation (FPC) received subject invoice regarding Region II inspection fees for Crystal River Unit 3 (CR-3). Review of the invoice indicated that charges for Inspection Report Number 92-018 appear to be excessive and above the normal charges for such an inspection.
Inspection 92-018 was conducted by Mr. R. Schin and other NRC personnel on July 12 - August 22, 1992. However, specific charges for weeks included during this time frame were billed as separate inspections, e.g.,92-015, 92-020 and 92-022.
Please provide a detailed report itemizing the 322.5 hours5.787037e-5 days <br />0.00139 hours <br />8.267196e-6 weeks <br />1.9025e-6 months <br /> charged for Inspection 92-018. FPC will submit the total invoice amount on July 1,1993. However, if it is concluded that an error in billing did occur, FPC's account should be adjusted appropriately.
