RIVER BEND CONTAINMENT ACCESS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM (TAC NO. M86003)-
In a January 29, 1993 letter, Gulf States Utilities (GSU) requested that the NRC staff reevaluate the need to maintain the containment access management program (CAMP) throughout the plant's life. That letter was in response to a Safety Evaluation issued August 3, 1992 by the NRC staff that required that the CAMP be maintained for the life of the plant.
The staff has reevaluated the need to maintain the CAMP and determined that current administrative controls are adequate. Our Supplemental Safety Evaluation is enclosed. This completes our activities on TAC No. M84300.
