This refers to a routine announced inspection conducted by C. Myers and C.

Clark of this office during the period of April 27 through May 7,1993. The

inspection covered activities authorized by NRC License Numbers NPF-41, NPF-

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the report. Within

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

This inspection report discusses in part your ongoing eddy current inspections

of the Unit 2 steam generators.

Both the NRC Office of Nuclear Reactor

identify the cause of the steam generator tube rupture on March 14, 1993. We

request that you continue to keep us informed of the results of your

inspections.

No violations or deviations of NRC requirements were identified within the

scope of this inspection.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure

will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
